The Honorable On the occasion of his resignation as Vice Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council (DSC), Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense of the United Arab Emirates, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, met with His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Commissioner-General for Infrastructure, Urban Planning and Well-Being Pillar, Director-General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). In accordance with the leadership’s vision and the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, His Highness praised the role played by the Dubai Sports Council, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, in fostering a sporting culture in society and enhancing the emirate’s standing on the international sports map. Sheikh Hamdan further emphasized the Council’s critical role in increasing sports’ GDP contribution to the emirate.
