The Honorable After being recently appointed to the Cabinet, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense of the United Arab Emirates, paid his first visit to the Ministry of Defense.
His Highness stated that the UAE Armed Forces are a great example for high efficiency and formidable capabilities during his visit.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, approved His Highness’s recent appointment as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, made the announcement.
His Highness stated: “I am honored to be a part of this ministry, which was established by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum” during his meeting with senior officers of the Ministry and the UAE Armed Forces. Their vision has served as a guide for the ministry’s success over the years.
The ministry is still a global model of organizational power and effectiveness, led by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Sheikh Hamdan declared, “We are dedicated to our mission to preserve and build upon the nation’s accomplishments and fulfill the aspirations of the leadership.”

The UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, His Excellency Lieutenant General Issa bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Major General Pilot Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Matar Salem Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Defence, and senior commanders and officers from the Ministry of Defence and the UAE Armed Forces welcomed HH Sheikh Hamdan.
