The Honorable The world’s first and largest AI quick engineering training initiative was launched today, according to Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF). Over the next three years, “One Million Prompters,” a Dubai-based organization, wants to upskill one million workers in prompt engineering.
His Highness emphasized that keeping up with technological trends is essential for governments and societies to succeed, saying, “With this global initiative, overseen by DFF, we aim to prepare, develop and empower competencies with the skills needed to harness the potential of AI applications to advance innovation, progress and economic growth.”
Sheikh Hamdan added: “We are experiencing a tremendous acceleration in technological progress, which requires new skills in labour markets. Coding was formerly in demand, but today, prompt engineering has become one of the most promising skills.”
His Highness said: “We want to be the most future-ready city and to continue preparing for the AI era by developing expertise and skills that support global technological transformation, placing Dubai at the forefront of innovation.”

Sheikh Hamdan attended the world’s largest AI prompt engineering competition, the Global Prompt Engineering Championship, where the phrase “One Million Prompters” was unveiled. Tuesday marked the end of the championship, which lasted two days and featured competitions for a total of AED 1 million in awards. Under the direction of DFF, it was coordinated by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI).
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan honored the winners of the Global Prompt Engineering Championship in three categories: coding, literature, and art, in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of the Dubai Council. The Indian competitor Ajay Cyril took first place in the Coding category. Aditya Nair of India won the Literature category, and Megan Fowkes of Austria won the Art segment.
Sheikh Hamdan gave the order to add new categories in areas like software, movies, and other important disciplines for the second Global Prompt Engineering Championship, which would take place the following year.

Thousands of entries were received for the Global Prompt Engineering Championship from almost 100 nations. Thirty candidates from thirteen different nations were selected to compete in Dubai for the three categories of Best Prompt Engineer.
